REGIONAL EVENTS FOR 2008 INTERNATIONAL EVENTS /REGIONAL EVENTS/ STUDIO EVENTS January 24: Chief Instructor’s  Workshop Host: Scota Karate Academy, Ltd. Location: Taylors, SC.   February 7: Judging/Referee Clnic, Gup Training Clinic, CANCELED March 14: Spring Black Belt Pretest, Black Belt Workout, Judging/Referee Clinic 10:00 AM Host: Chapin Tang Soo Do Location: Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC The Clinic will cover the Rules and regulations governing all sanctioned tournaments in the World Tang Soo Do Association. There will a written test in which all Black Belts will take every other year. All Black Belts are to have read the Official Rules Book prior to attending. Clinic and pretest begin at 10:00 AM. Clinic to be held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC All Candidate's notifications for the Spring Black Belt Test must be sent to Master Jim Mars not later than January 19^th. Test packets for the Spring Black Belt testing are due on or prior to February 14^th. See Regional Testing Check List for content. May 16: Spring Tournment and Awards Day Host: Scota Karate Academy, Taylors, SC Location: Taylors First Baptist Church Life Center, Taylors, SC Time: 9:00 am (Black Belt Competition) 11:00 Line-up  June 12-14: Region 7 Black Belt Camp (Mandatory Requirement) Host: Scota Karate Academy, Taylors, SC Location: Furman University, Greenville, SC. Master Efrain Valentin and Master Rachel Valentin, guest master instructors September 12: Fall Black Belt Pretest / BB Workout / Judging and Referee Clinic 11:00 AM Host: Scota Karate Academy, Taylors, SC Location: Taylors First Baptist Church Family Life Center, Taylors, SC.
