Where Can Leadership Lead You?
Zach Ross is embarking on an incredible adventure in learning and cultural diversity. Mr. Ross has been accepted to be in the inaugural class of NYU Abu Dhabi this fall. Mr. Ross began this process by responding by application and heading to Abu Dhabi over Thanksgiving break for a visit and interview. Out of the 250 students who traveled there, Mr. Ross was chosen to be one of the 100 students accepted. He will be majoring in Biology while studying not only in Abu Dhabi, but has the choice to take semesters in Berlin, Buena Sores, and Shanghai. Mr. Ross will enjoy this adventure on a full scholarship and has also been asked to lead the Scuba Club for the University.
Under the guidance of Master Wilson Smith, Mr. Ross began Tang Soo Do training at age five and has continued through to E Dan. He has been a vital member of the Twin Dragons Demo Team for over six years and has taken over as one of the Directors of the team this past year. Mr. Ross has just recently completed his Instructor Training and Leadership Course through Twin Dragons and is currently a certified instructor through the WTSDA. Besides his leadership skills, Mr. Ross has competed in several Regional and World Championships and is one of our ground defense and weapons trainers.
The instructors and students of Twin Dragons are so very proud of Mr. Ross and his accomplishments. We wish him the very best in his studies and travels. Besides the wonderful family influence and personal drive that Mr. Ross is blessed to have, we would like to think that his Tang Soo Do training at Twin Dragons helped in some way to prepare this exceptional young man for his future as a leader. As with all of our students, we wish him safe travel, love and friendship, and the very best in life
